Terms for the Key

These terms cover getting a key for Cockpit Manager, free or paid. Cockpit Manager is made by Invictus Machine LLC, which offers it as Invictus Cockpit Systems ("we"). Using Cockpit Manager itself is covered by the license agreement shown when you install it.

What you get

  • Cockpit Manager is free to download and use, for everyone. Invictus hardware never needs a key.
  • A key unlocks setting up DIY boards and DIY displays in Cockpit Manager. Nothing else in Cockpit Manager needs one.
  • You choose the price, and $0 is fine. It is the same key at every price: nothing in Cockpit Manager changes with what you paid.
  • The key is emailed to the address you give. It is checked on your own PC, offline, and works with every DIY board you own.
  • One free key per email address. The key is for you: don't share, resell or publish it, or work around the key check.

Who takes your payment

A free key involves no payment and no checkout. If you choose to pay (any amount from $0.50, the least our reseller can take), the payment is taken by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), our online reseller and the Merchant of Record: it takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt. Polar sells the key through the account of Cahaba 3D, so the checkout page and your receipt name Cahaba 3D, not Cockpit Manager. That is expected. Your purchase is also subject to the terms Polar shows at checkout. Questions about Cockpit Manager or your key come to us.

Refunds

See the refund policy. A refunded key is revoked and must no longer be used.

No warranty

Cockpit Manager and the key are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for your key.
